According to the statute of the E.S.M.A. (Hellenic Orff-Schulwerk Association) members are distinguished as regular and supporting members.
Regular Members , The following can become regular members:
A) Graduates of the professional Orff Music and movement Education at Moraitis School, graduates of the Orff Institute in Salzburg, as well as graduates of other Orff-Schulwerk training programs conducted in Greece or abroad, recognized by IOSFS.
B) Individuals who meet the following conditions: a) Hold a degree related to humanities, educational sciences, or the arts. b) Can certify attendance of seminars totaling 100 hours at the Orff Institute or institutions recognized by IOSFS. c) Have been supporting members with their financial obligations settled for at least three (3) years.
Regular members have the right to vote and be elected, speak at the General Assembly, express their opinions, raise issues for discussion, and vote on decisions.
Supporting Members can be any educators, dancers, or musicians interested in Carl Orff’s music pedagogy approach and willing to support the Association’s objectives and activities.
Supporting members do not have voting rights or the right to be elected. They may attend the General Assembly, speak with the permission of the board, but do not have voting rights.
